The clock seems to be flying round and before we know it the Bank Holiday will be here dragging along with it "that thing at the end of August"
So here is a bit about what is happening on the Saturday.

SATURDAY 27th,
The Adventure starts here.
At 10-00am on the Saturday Morning we would like about 25/30 minis to leave the campsite and pick up a few siblings and Parents at Little Bridge house and take them to the BIG SHEEP in convoy of course. All the mini involved will be allowed to park in a field inside the Big Sheep and put on a display for the visitors.
All those taking part in the display will have free entry into the Big Sheep.

The Big Sheep “MINI” fete.
Inside the big sheep and under cover, we are going to put up a few games, the type we use at Dartington so that we can try to raise a few bob, I think even splat the rat may make an appearance if we can find the rats. We should be able to get these set up the night before or earlier that morning. Because it is under cover we can put up poster etc telling everyone what we have done over the past years. We will also be putting up some CHSW posters.

Westerly BMW will be sponsoring the event and making a donation to the CHSW. Their Minis will be parked inside the Big Sheep opposite the restaurant for the whole weekend. They will be organising a raffle to win a mini for a weekend with a free tank of petrol and I am sorry you cannot just take the petrol.

As we have already said anyone taking part in the LGT can buy a day ticket for £7.50 and use it all week. If you are not staying for a week but would still like to come into the Big Sheep for the Saturday day you will get 50% off.

SATURDAY CRUISE.
Leave Northam Burrows at 6-30pm but please do not get there before 5-30 or they will charge you to get in. We expect about 130 minis and we will take a slow cruise around Westward Ho! Northam Appledore, Bideford and this year we will finish at the BIG SHEEP and not the Quay. This must be the countries only real Mini cruise. The big sheep will be opening it’s doors to Ewetopia for everyone taking part. A chance to enjoy the death slide and have some fun. There is also a café within Ewetopia that does very nice snacks and there is also a brewery which might be open.

I have put this up here because we need 25/30 cars to go to Little Bridge House and to help with the games etc.
Anyone interested.

Check the front page for more info.

Just to let you know each of the children will be accompanied by a carer or there mun and dad. So only 1 person in the car as a driver the rest of the team will have to wait at the big sheep. Should not need all the cars but it should make the convoy look good and get the weekend of to a good start.

Just been thinking which is a very bad thing fore me to do at this time. If we can find 25/30 minis willing to take part in the convoy and the show at the Big Sheep. There is no reason why we can not take the normal passengers in the minis as long as they are willing to get in another mini for the trip back to the big sheep. There should be plenty of room.

Terry, just to warn you not many people visit the site, certainly not 25. The few that visit , only a few post and things like Birthdays are now a thing of the past. Perhaps it should be someone's job to daily identify birthdays and start a thread. I used to but as Siddarz said, some forums have had their time and only a handful, the regulars respond.. So Happy birthday Basher.

Hi Rita
I know that we have lost a lot of interest on the site. and facebook seems to have taken over. That is why I have just printed off 300 latest news letters the same as the front page. I hope to get them posed on Tuesday, they will also be going to those people who have not booked in yet as a little reminder.

Good idea. For those of us who don't like to go public on Facebook. Is there a NDMR club page that we don't know about?
