So how is everyone getting on with their costumes etc for the LGT? We have our costume sorted and think we have the car sorted too doing something I haven't done before which I'm still not sure about but we'll see....... It involves sticking things to dumbos paintwork

Costumes and car sorted. Had dress rehersal last weekend neighbours thought we had gone mad. May dress car again and leave on the driveway with a donations bucket and sponsorship form.
Ps damaged my paint last year when I covered doors in material which got wet and then hot later in the day when the sun came out. Paint now has cloudy water marks so be careful what you stick on.

Lol were thinking of a mini dress rehersal with our roof decoration the neighbours alreay think were mad having 4 Mini's when we were building the garage they thought it was a bingalow!
Thinking of having so vinyls done I have spoken to someone we use at work and he has siad they'll be fine

I think we are nearly there, theme sorted (nearly) fancy dress costumes sorted, silly hats sorted Air Horns sorted (again) fairy lights for roof rack sorted, music for theme sorted just got to sort speakers for roof so we don't get sick of the music. Now need to pack and we'll be ready.

Spent so much time making our fancy dress for SMD we will be wearing it again for the LGT may not bring the icecream chimes this year will have to see if we have enough room in the Mini looking forward to seeing you all again

Fingers crossed once the new Engine management relay & plug have been wired in on Tueday I can start to think seriously about the fancy dress. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute

Well we have to finish an actual car..... as in welding, grinding, filling and painting........ and its got to be done in a week, its being MOT'd a week on Tuesday.................... tho we have started the fancy dress for it!!!!!! Pressure is on..... tensions are building!!! There is nothing like last minute.....................................

It depends if you've got yourself that excited that you can't sleep until you're so excited and tired that you fall asleep not realising you've fallen asleep because you're so excited and then wake up confused and excited about how many sleeps you've got to have yet which makes you really excited etc etc etc. It's a self-perpetuating cycle.
At least this time with a diesel genny you should be able to get some sleep during the week, if you're not too excited etc etc etc.
