Croydon has been calm the past few nights with a lot of Police presence. We are 2 miles away from the High Street where all the looting happened. The sad bit was them setting ablaze a landmark of a furniture shop that had stood there through 2 wars and some scumbag  does that.

I've had a trapped nerve for 6 weeks now, the pain was excruciating. I could not move, I could not go to bed for a week as I could not lie down. I still have pain, can now teach but still using a walking stick. I start some private physio next week now the pain has eased a little with constant serious pain killers. I gave up waiting for NHS physio, I was "urgent" and not heard after 4 weeks. Luckily Andrew has private cover with his job at John Lewis and added me on.

Also, the last 3 days I've had a throat infection  and lost my voice and again could not teach and no-one pays me to stay at home. I've just managed to squeak through a lesson. I need a break to Devon

Thanks for asking, bet you wish you hadn't.

Blimey you have been having a good time of it lately.  I heard about the furniture store totally pointless to burn it down to me I don't think any of them really know what they a roiting for apart from to cuase discruction and steal.  One of them was an 11 year old girl what is going wrong with the world?

I have to ask and I do not do carnivals alone so maybe we will let this one pass. I have to do IIfracombe because I made them a promise but I do not need any support Tinker can cope on her own but if any would like to do a carnival just let me know and I will join you if I can. I promised IIfracombe because it is for St Johns and they man the Ambulance that follows the LGT.
