Got worried about a knocking/rattling noise on Krakatoa, front left. Nothing obvious but got louder especially at low speed. Will phone Wood and Picket tomorrow. Don't want it going wrong on LGT.
After the tip runs yesterday, cleaned out the trailer then transferred the camping stuff from Jock jr into it plus a bit more stuff. Then took Jock jr to his winter home in Michelle's garage. Went in to town for a bit of retail therapy and to draw out the money to pay for the shopping trolley, which is all ready to be collected tomorrow. Haven't been able to get on here until now as Michelle has been working on my computer (remotely from her house - how clever is that) it's a bit surreal watching my computer do all sorts of things without me even touching it, she's given up for tonight tho' so it's a quick look on here then I'm off to bed

Today I . . . was just eating my corn flakes when the phone rang. Younger daughter calling to say she'd fallen over and hurt her ankle badly, and could I take her to A&E. Dashed the 25 miles to where she was (no unmarked cop cars, thankfully) and took her to a surprisingly deserted A&E (evidently 9am. on a Sunday is the time to go, according to the Triage Nurse - as "The drunks haven't woken up & found they injured themselves last night" !!!!!!!!!!!). X-ray confirmed no break, but the size of the swelling (even with frozen mixed veg [packets of peas were huge] on it) was quite impressive. Left her at her flat (unfortunately 1st floor!), with two packets of frozen food and a cuppa - having done her washing up. Home for lunch at about 1:30pm. First cuppa of the day + beans on toast. Watched the re-run of the MotoGP on Eurosport. About 3:30 went out to have a look at why the Sidewalk drivers window made 'orrible noises when winding down. Had a play and improved it with some grease on the runners, and cleared off some rust from the "bit that holds the window" (technical term!). That'll do for now, but it needs a new "bit that holds the window" eventually. Cottage pie for dinner.
