run out one sunday

anyone fancy a run out somewhere on a sunday

in a mini landy or VW  or bicycle

cant do the 23rd cos i will be out in the landy at a challenge  

We can't do the 23rd either but would b able to do either of the other dates. Would b lovely

We can do the 6th as we finish in the van the weekend before

ok looks like the 6th it is any preference where ????

6th sounds good! Don't mind where,we will b coming from crediton(about 45mins away from bideford) only taken part in lgt's so far so really looking forward to a smaller drive around dose it matter that we don't have a cb radio? We're still saving money to buy one and don't think will have it by then lol.

Dont worry about the CB - im always on the wrong channel wondering why no ones talking!!

i am looking at the weather !!!! a trip to Bude isnt much fun in the wet  



will post on Fri re meeting times etc IF its not going to be too wet !!!!!!!!

Well the weather is going to be ok and as we might as well end the year as we began with a bracing walk along Bude beach  

but i think on the way back we shall stop for tea and cake/shopping for christmas presents at Brooks Garden centre justt out of Bude --EX29 9NR


so if we meet at Morrisons Bideford at 10.00 for those who want breakfast or to buy a sandwhich for lunch then we'll leave at 11.00 go to Bude via Coast Rd then leave Bude at 2-ish to Brooks and then back via Holsworthy possibly Bradworthy as that will be pretty with all the leaves turning

is that ok with everyone

its a shame that the Lynton Railway Place has closed for the season that looked like a nice place to stop at for tea we shall have to try there next year

Yes it was. I offered Krakatoa although it was for Coopers if they were struggling to make up numbers but they gave us a place immediately. It was a good day. 50 Coopers, (49) 50 E-type jags, both celebrating their 50th, 100 electric cars of the future and 100 of the veteran cars going on L-B tomorrow.

It did NOT rain and we had lunch at Nandos at outside tables with Domino. And we did some shopping. It was a harmless fun day. Domino is zonked in his bed ignoring the borough firework display. We should go to London more. The tourists were fascinated with the minis, being able to get so close. We wondered how many photos were taken today.

and another one drops out :/ , got HUGE card orders to do :/ craft fair next weekend! I working morning noon and night! haves fun fun fun!

Also the mini is leaking MAJOR LEAKING!!! and it has rained and it collects in the lining and splats out when i drive! the water is cold and not pleasent! grrrrr

after  a breakfast we decided to give the walk a miss and go straight onto the retail and tea opportunity!!! the weather was fantastic no clouds blue sky and sunshine we took a scenic route through some lovely scenery lovely colour in the trees

thanks everyone who came goodnews was we were back in time to for me to cook a roast

No beetle? An autumn drive is one of the prettiest. And one of your lovely roasts (yum yum)

No, no beetle!!!  We woke this morning and Mike said it would be good to go in a mini and promptly got up went up to our workshop (about 3 mile away) bolted some seats in the estate and washed him!  Sitting in a mini estate with nothing but front seats in it was interesting....

We had a fab day.... thanx guys for your company!!

ps penny we were following you home in hope there may be a roast dinner in it!

We went to Lisa's for James birthday party, lots of kids, food, drink and fireworks - although James usually drags auntie in to the front room, as he doesn't really like fireworks!!!!   By the way he will be 4 on Wednesday, where has the time gone?

well we did wonder why you didnt go onto Atlantic Village as i thought thats where you said you were headed you would have been very welcome we had lots as the expected son didnt want to come !!!
