As we went to SMD's in two cars we used the CBs then, my passenger wasn't much company as he slept all of the way there and most of the way home ::) at least I could talk to Michelle and occaisonally Luke ;D (by the way my passenger is only 21 months old)

He must have felt safe with your driving skills. Does Michelle nod off when you're driving her?
We use walkie talkies when we're in separate cars. At least all this is road legal.

We will have CB in Nigel. Missy isnt coming this year as she needs a bit of TLC and didnt want to risk her. The project cabriolet is so nearly done it hurts but sadly not done enough to be ready for the things at the end of the month so Nigel is doing the tour for the first time ever!!!

OMG does he have a CB if not we could all be talking about you, all 300 minis.

Michelle rarely lets me driver her far enough for her to fall asleep ::)

This will be Gem's 4th LGT - quite the old hand now. Jock won't be there as he is having some major TLC done as well Michelle will be doing the LGT on her motorbike for the 2nd time tho' ;D

I spoke to you guys at SMOD and Mich said that she was biking it this year, that must be exciting. Missy did the tour for the last 5 years so I think she deserves a rest.
I'll be passenger most days as I dont like to drive Nige that much so you can talk about/to me as much as you like on the CB!!

Dennis is CB-equipped, although it looks like I'll have to carry on borrowing Lotty's aerial as I haven't got off me bottom and sorted out a new one yet...

Another one with a cb here. Also use walikie tailkies for the drive down with two cars, mind you I haven't decided whether to bring my mini or motorbike yet!

Forgot to say, never bothered with a licence. I'm sure you don't need one anymore (someone will correct me if I'm wrong).
mine came from a place in south Wales, CCC in Caerphilly, they are on the net.

CB Licensing was scrapped a couple of years ago - the appropriate authority worked out there were about 20k licensed users left, so didn't see the point in continuing the licenses. Perhaps they conveniently forgot about the estimated 100k users without licenses :D

We got ours from CCC in caerphilly too who fitted them for us too I think the whole package (receiver + aerial + fitting) was about £80 per car. We asked about the legallity of them and were told that you don't need a licence and that they are allowed to be used on the road.
We used walkie talkies for the first couple of lgt's which are great if you are on a tight budget. Though the running commentry on the CB's is priceless and we would be lost without OBNAV ;D

I want to know if women moan as an excuses to spend money or do they spend money as an excuses to moan. life is only as complicated as you make it and I get so dizzy.
