I've used Dynamat in the past which is very good not cheap but good.

THe GT sounds like it goes well looking forward to seeiing/hearing it soon

Agree about Dynamat, very good but at a price. Car Audio Specialists are probably the people to talk to about this, although in the end it will most likely come down to a compromise between the level of sound deadening and the additional weight you're happy to incur. Hope this helps :)

i can vouch for dynamat. it stops panels vibrating, so if you find its stil too noisy you should use the foam soundproofing over the top of it.

Thanks for the suggestions  :) Ive been into halfords they have a foiled back foam which I have fitted inside the weber box, and i am going to have to do the bulkhead behing the dash as it still a bit throaty, especially when you accelerate,  ;D ;D, i can also get ear plugs from work ;D ;D, luckly the missus has been in it yet, so i need to get it quieter before she does, as at the moment a long drive down to Devon may result in a headache me thinks :D :D :D

I dont think she is going to be keen to go far in my mini with the present noise levels :D :D she will be using her much quieter mini 40, but I need to get it sorted before i use it for the summer, we wanted to go to Brookland this year as we missed last year :-/ :-/

Never mind sound deadening, cant get the thing started since the weber was fitted, it takes ages to fire up, its fine once I get it going, anyone got a weber fitted? I still have a mechanical fuel pump fitted so it may be fueling :-/ :-/ :-/
