i have flushed it out and put a new rad in it is the same it never overheats
and the heater works a1 i do get water out of the overflow not much
but enough to make a right mess over the car

any ideas

Quick quandry, I'm going to look at a Mini this weekend, one for a project for team jellybean, Hopefully to be up and running for next years Lejog,

It's a 1983 Mayfair which i've been told needs 'a bit of work' doing to it.

Just wondered if there was anything in particular to look out for on these minis, electrics problems, rust etc... anything other than the usual!,  Just so i've got a bit of heads up before I go to see it!,

Let me know if you can think of anything!

I'm tempted by the PL Mini Coil spring conversion as it should last alot longer than rubber dounuts but I'm hearing mixed reports about going over to springs.

my mini has now been off road for about 2 months, slowly i have been getting it ready for MOT but am stuck on the wiring.

working away in aldershot has meant doing work has been very hard. so im going to bite the bullet and get someone to do it professionally. however, id quite like it ready for the mini run short notice i know

can anyone recommend a good auto electrician in the devon area? i tried callling hobbit a few times, but after he came and looked, he never got back to me. so think i might try someone else.

Need some help having trouble with my 1999 MPI a few wweks ago it blew the fuse for the right hand side light and insturment lights since changing it keeps on blowing I've tried moving wires etc with the lights on and it's fine It ojnly blows when the car is moving forwards and thats it not in reverse. Need to get it sorted for Thursday night for my trip down to North Devon on Friday.
